Congratulations on your new bundle of joy! The first two weeks of a new baby’s life is so precious, and we are here to help capture every wrinkle, nook and cranny of your little one. We recommend you book your session in advance, it’s never too
early! We typically like to see newborns between 4 and 14 days old. This allows us to get the baby in different poses and positions that they won’t allow us to put them in as they start to sprout. We will typically schedule them for around 7 days after your due date. But don’t worry if your baby decides to surprise you a week early, we are happy to adjust any date and time you need!
For these sessions we can use a backdrop in our Downers Grove studio, or just the natural setting of your home. Keep in mind we photograph all newborn sessions in natural light. So depending on how much light your home gets, sometimes it’s best to do the sessions in-studio. The session typically lasts two hours, and we will provide bows, wraps, blankets, but you are more than welcome to bring some of your own to incorporate into your session. If we are photographing at your home, we will also use the baby’s room or your master bedroom for locations. When the images are ready, you will receive an online gallery with 60-80 images to choose from for purchase. They gallery is password protected, and can be shared with whoever you’d like!
Session fees are $150 (in-studio or in your home)
